Enchanting in its simplicity and directness of message. This poem goes straight to the heart of the matter and does not let the reader forget the source of the song. Lovely writing.

Bless you and Holly, yes. Sing it anyway... so darn right. Many times, those I sing for turn deaf ears even whilst I'm still doing my best... it is the kindness of friends like you and those for whom sometimes the song is NOT intended who do me the honour of listening to my efforts and showing appreciation. I love this metaphor, so on point. Ultimately, no note we sing, share and bring with nothing but giving on our heart is ever wasted... There will be a grateful recipient somewhere!
