Spice of My Life

Molasses pooled eyes, dreaming,
Ginger thoughts of you,
Hot sauce runneth veins, streaming,
Spicy thoughts a'new.
.
Bland, I'd be without you,
You season my being,
Flavoring my life, it's true ,
Superbly, geeing.

Some matchmakers suggest that only those of like nature have the stuff for the long run. But "Spice of My Life" suggests to me some truth in the adage, "Opposites attract." Of course, "keeping" your lover perhaps presents another strategy.

A provocative poem of wisdom.

cookin up a real treat here, Christine! :)) I'd say you know what your man truly needs to get his appetite roused, then uniquely satisfied... and looks like the tastes are mutual and shared. It's divine when lovers are each other's sugar, spice and seasoning. Ambrosial romance! Kate xx
