No Words

Fingers rest thy pen, searching
delicate thoughts, to scribble
ink on paper, words to
express my love, but
I'm  ah wastin' my time,
as this pondering pen,
can find none,
hope you can feel me instead.

In times where there are no words, a gentle touch, a soft smile or even a quick wink share feelings beyond those that can be expressed.

Just stopping by to visit, my dear Christine.

I can certainly relate to your words. Clever write, Christine! You prove that a poet is never truly stuck for words. Great job!

Actions speak louder than words. Yes, I can feel your desire to put the pen into action. Results were the "Fruits of the Spirit" and love conquers all.

God bless you,

Job done! :)) All wrapped up in a bow, sealed with a loving kiss and hand-delivered. Yep, you'll be felt alright! "Fingers rest thy pen" is a beautiful exhortation. Fabulous light yet sincere tone to this one, Christine. Thank you, Kate xx

They say that when flowers can't give perfume anymore they cry, and we can see it every morning as dew drops hanging from their petals.
When the poet can't find words is because the poet is looking about the wrong place.

I have writer's block all the time, I usually take a walk or go to the beach to rejuvenate my muse...I bet some Connecticut air would help your muse out quite a bit.
Much love, light, and peace my dear spirit sister,

Christine,
The Muse has not deserted you, the fact that you can articulate it means Muse is still around, and yes, we can feel your great vibration and always will.

This says more than any long winded verse of poetic rambling...it speaks from the heart about how love can leave us spell bound but yet tie us in a bind that melts our hearts like butter in the sun. Well done

Christine, this is so romantic and so sweet. I especially like, ", but
I'm ah wastin' my time,"...it reminded me of lyrics to a song! Beautiful work.
