Collision

We collided midstream,
hearts entangled,
you stood me up,
I toweled you dry,
a glance....actually a stare,
that is when we realized,
it was no accident

Some things are just meant to be Christine.
And this sounds like one chance meeting. Sweet and subtle.

WOW ! No, it was definitely not an accident. The nights are lonelier and the days are longer.

Well Christine, You and I are on the same wave length. It is all about the flat tire story, nothing is an accident, everything happens for a reason. I just love your poem and the photo, so perfect.
Sending waves of healing vibes to you.
Much peace, love, and light,

This is so true that what happens when it comes to love is not merely chance but a well designed plan that was foreseen before it happened but we made the choice to accept it.

Chrissie when you post it is always sure to be a winner and this work is no exception. Our worlds and our lives may be somewhat left to fate or even often be out of our hands but you are right that what affects our lifes and loves...is not an accident..."someone had a hand in it" was it the keeper of the stars as the words of a country song so profoundly proclaim? Wonderfully heart warming write.
