They say I don't write poetry, that's good. I just write words.
JUST WORDS
by Cynthia B. Baello
July 27,2008
Wordy nothingness
Disguised as poetry,
Devoid and meaningless
Dressed in imagery.
Dancing with the verses
In partnership with myth,
Drunk in sways of emptiness
Adorned with verbose width.
Sashaying with the sensual urge
Of one whose brain's down there
Expelled each time by passion's surge
Leaves him emptier than ever.
Such literary black widows
Entraps in webs of sin
Intent in glorifying Eros
Feeds on lust, devours you in.
Time the ultimate Reviewer
Will weigh the words of contribution,
Whether it is to be remembered,
Or rust that causes SOUL EROSION.
Good expressions of yourself here too. Comes from the heart, that is all that counts. We all try to write as we think of things and this is a good way with words.
One has to oil and grease each cog and wheel so the rust doesn't take over. I feel sorry for those who have to keep each memory and thought confined. How sad to live only within oneself. I love that last line, very imaginative. Peace, Love and Blessings Always, Paul.
