Today is my only son's birthday and he is thirty-two years old. He has always been an affectionate son, a model to his siblings, an esteemed employee, a very responsible man, and he has been our bread winner since his father left us.

You work so hard and you are frugal,
The simple joys of life you seek,
You're such an honest individual
With a sense of humor so unique.

I thank God He gave you to me
The first time I held you, tears did fall
For I knew what a treasure you would be.

My life would not have been in vain-
You make us proud for who you are,
