Small Movement of a Great Love

From inside this vacant temple
comes magnified the holy echo.

God comes to life and life comes to God,
shaking the walls of faith’s preconception

With a belly laugh issuing forth
from the soul of present moment,

God slides in sock feet through chambers
long abandoned but ever aching to be filled.

After ages, in a blink, an ocean
of hope lifts me. I can see a world

Being born, created and re-created in joy,
borne by tide of love coming home to me.

You capture brilliantly the intimacy and joy to be found when God reveals Himself to us in the miracle of "small" things.... it somehow makes Him so much BIGGER in our eyes, don't it??!! God is macro, but He loves to deal in the micro and the seemingly insignificant. And, as you will doubtless know, He is absolutely MASSIVE in stockinged feet!! :)) Love this, Dawn, thank you. LOL K xx
