This list poem includes things I sincerely do not understand about our "reality" which I find quite surreal. As I said in my infamous Facebook post circa 2012 I do not come from here. That remains true and I have learned much, but still these are things I cannot wrap my heart or brain around. I make so many mistakes and see life very much as a learning ground. The best I can see, it is a disconnection from one’s own light and the river of life that runs through us that would lead to such things. These things are disturbing to me. And to circle back to 2012 where I come from the very resonance with the heartbeat of creation makes such things an impossibility.
The idea of winning or
life as a game, pretense
That extends to every domain,
harms most one playing it.
The way people say I love you
but act from cruel hate.
The concept of competition
when it comes to people.
The terror inflicted on a
child’s body, mind, heart, soul.
The strangeness of one who receives
support but spreads gossip.
The failure of openness to
refining one’s life course.
