echoes between the rhythm
where resides the voice
a song sung
a breath
rises and falls
singing
believing in
light within shadow
history creating moments
reverse echo
dancing across such
a mirror rhyme
truth bleeds
off the edge
the song sung
sing!
It is only when a choral of voices raises to the familiar words repeated this time of the year from child to adult throughout a lifetime and beyond that one realizes that the spirit of Christmas never dies in the mind's eye of us all.
