I love – and therefore - I am.
But who am I, really?
 
I’m roses and ruffles
I’m arguments and shuffles
I’m quick as a wit
and I can throw a fit.
 
I’m tattoos and memories
I’m a gun fight for enemies
I’m beer and popcorn
and proud to be German born.
 
I’m love and I’m laughter
a helping hand in disaster
I’m red glossy lips
and jeans low on my hips.
 
I’m not just cats or dogs
I got eyes green like frogs
I’m Shakespeare and Poe
and I take on a foe.
 
I’m married and happy
I find TV shows mostly crappy
I got a thing for this land
I think to live here is grand.
 
I’m a leader and giver
I got much to deliver
I embrace the good Lord
and ignorance gets ignored.
 
I'm sunshine and rain
I'm teardrops and pain
I'm a no-nonsense gal
and could be your best pal
 
I'm adventure and dare
I'm an island of care
I'm springtime and fall
won't turn down a good brawl.
 
I’m horses and hay
I’m not much for cliché
I’m a free spirited mind
Yes – I like my own kind.

I like everything i read about you-and the part I liked the best was

" I'm a no no-nonsense gal
and could be your best pal"

well I think I envy anyone being your friend

Good way to describe yourself-I must try this in a poem sometime soon :-)
