The directive sun casts my soul today… as light casts a shadow upon the sidewalk. And it is within this silhouette… that I surround my being in all its brilliance.
As the sun journeys… burning distance around the heavens… my shadow also travels slowly… in the company of the days light.
Yet… when the twilight amber of my thought… realizes the sun’s decision to travel beyond the promise of my physical transport… awakening the light of new shadows in another part of the world… I disappear.
With no longer shadow for company… I fly with mercurial speed… toward the stars of night… and the open arms of the moon’s opalescence.
You've captured it well: after the "glare" of full day, there's nothing more freeing than that moonlight and stars of night.... I know I prefer it for creativity
