what a light and breezy fun poem to read. i still haven't exactly found my niche yet but seem to lean more toward the whimsical children stuff like this... i completely enjoyed this
What a universal animal. Jeff calls Mo monkey and I wrote a poem for her called Monkey Fun. Trouble is, as you point out, kids only see the fun stuff a monkey does. I can't think of a single children's poet(and I've read a few) that have the ability to marry the children's poem with a life's lesson like you do and keep it fun. You need to go on Oprah.

This book was written for children to stress the importance of being able to choose who gets to hug or touch them and being able to say NO if they don't want to be hugged or touched.
