Well, I'm "Living in the Past" as the old Jethro Tull song went. And why not right now? Yesterday was my birthday and besides the incredible "heavy weather" we had here in Florida. A drenching rain and Big Violent thunderstorms, a few tornados about that luckily missed my neck of the woods; besides all that, I woke up with serious cramps and spasms and the "elements were conspiring agains me" as Shakespeare says in "The Tempest"

Anyway, I could not find the picture I had of these lovely Flowers that my mother picked for me back in 1984 in Deland and put on my window still but you can picture them. I always loved the Wisteria bushes I had in both previous dwellings but no longer have here. They're a true "Harbinger" of spring here in Florida and, they only last for a few weeks in flower, before the petals are scattered to the wind.
My deceased mother always loved this "song". I tossed the vocal rendition of it from 1984 until someday I meet the right jazz vocalist to sing this very liquid jazz-vocal song.

Also: this lyric compares a "flower to a lady" and not "a lady to a flower" (subtle difference)
