Beyond a shadow of a doubt...

Since I will be leaving my studio in July to head North out of Florida, I will have no piano. So, right now recording and piano playing is going full speed ahead here at home. I am even working on the older songs I've been posting on my website "SongIndex"
This is one, believe it or not, that heralds from 1983!! The music on this one is forgotten, not the case with later ones. But I remember performing it one day in DeLand, Florida for two members of my newly joined Church singles group who happened by one day when I was composing. I can't remember how the melody went but I remember enjoying playing it (sort of inspired by a cross between gospel and The Moody Blues actually.
I have not idea if my voice sounded decent; I remember my two friends (a couple dating) were sort of shocked and pleased at the same time, not expecting to get a private performance of a song (I hope that was it... positive emotion!)
It was a good piano song but it never got recorded in those days, so I'm posting here and on my site...

We all want to get beyond a shadow of doubt and into the light of enlightenment. You need to get a tune for this one and I know you will. Keep plugging and someone will pick up your work and promote it for you and you'll be on your way.

Michael, I loved this inspirational song...it touched my heart today and I got a real blessing. I love to write music also but find I've never stepped forth to really get into it...time is robbing me of my youth and I guess it will always be something I keep inside...for time is stealing it!

What beautiful lyrics Michael!!!! You need to start entering some song writing competitions there is one I was a part of a while back but I never had any demos so it was useless, but you do and your stuff is great! I will find the website, producers and music industry gurus visit it constantly.

You Are A Very Talented Man, I could feel the gospel aspects of this beautiful timeless piece, but I also more in depth felt a destiny to pursue dreams, passions, and desires to fufill & be fufilled with the emotional wealth of it all. Yours, mine, anyone's! Perhaps this is also trust in oneself I felt too. "Beyond A Shadow Of A Doubt"...I Love This Title
You Should Never Doubt Your Talents, This write is very moving & inspiring for others to read. It speaks of great hopefulness too. I hope your move is smooth & you get back to your studio recordings soon. Have you ever submitted to radio? Pester them even?
