Husband, Friend

I thought I knew

The meaning of love

Until you were hand-delivered by Him from above

 

What took you so long

To come into my life?

As you’ve discovered, I am the ‘perfect’ wife

 

You brought infinite hopes and attainable dreams

Boy, did you light my fire

I had never known such insatiable desire

 

When I am blue

You make silly remarks and then your laughter

Leaves me breathless and my heart beating faster

 

When life is good

I get to share it with my bestest friend

I will always love you … to the end

 

With you, I am complete

Your infectious smile leaves me wowed

It’s a reflection of the sun breaking through a cloud

 

I am honored to call you husband and friend

Loving you is no taboo

Thankfully, you feel the same way that I do

 

Loving and being loved by you is truly remarkable

What did I do to deserve a man like you?

It matters not, only that our love is true !!

So beautiful Kathy, you and Steve are so very lucky that God looked down saw another perfect couple and pulled you together. Thank you for sharing your love with us. It will prove to many there is such a thing as TRUE LOVE. Thank you Kathy.

His laughter is comforting to you and glad you shared your husband with us today. Laughter is always a good way to keep a relationship going. The perfect wife gets the perfect husband, I'd say.

Everlasting love that lasts until "death do us part" is the greatest blessing bestowed upon any man or woman. I am glad you have found such a love in your husband. You are lucky, as is he.
