I inact so many faces,
I wear so many masks,
I've spent my life creating them
So you will never ask.

Imanginary problems
Woven thick, frayed at the seams,
Are diplayed to get that one-time high
The truth will never deam.

Your sympathy and pity
I admit, give me a rush,
But reality does not live here
Its all a bunch of mush.

I crave for your reaction
On a scandal of unease,
While hoping that you do not see
The reason I decive.

I'm an undiscoverd actor
with experience galore,
You've never really met me
Have I even spoke before?

I'm a theif, a sneaky loner,
Who will never see the light,
Blacked out by all these blankets
Made of lies and fake delights.

For I've stolen personalities
I've donned so many hats
That were never in my closet
Never meant to be for that.

You think you know my story
But you only know my shield
You wouldnt understand the secrets
That I've strived so hard to yeild.

So here's a toast, my darling,
To this roller coaster sea,
For the one truth I keep hidden
is the one you'll never see.

Wow, you had me from the first line. We can write about family, nature, and love but nothing is more powerful than honesty. Heartwrenching piece.
Thanks--RaeLynn

very good expression. I long for the name that all people could remove their masks.

It is a sad fact of reality Natasha that we are all acters to one degree or another, to write using imagination and flare is to play the part of the main subject in your mind. Sometimes the scrips are real but we still unwittingly play our parts. Excellant write my dear young friend.
