here i sit staring at a cloud filled sky and the darker grays beyond silver strands take awhile with the changing moon and write a tale of tides and moods the twinkling joy of reflective sparkle the full face grin of illumine
the wane and wax of almost cheerful the hide and seek when it is clouded in the absence of the new moon light and mystery of the darker side I see the moon and all its faces greater and lesser gravitational rides emotions and sensations effecting every watery substance as it swells of floods and low tides how oft the poet should write of the moon its constant appeal of a muse for it cast romance upon spirited lovers like shimmering silver silhouettes riding passions wet and full splashing waves of heightened thrill moving from night into the day from crescent to lunar full how glorious always I am enchanted as its spells of glimmer in the sky knowing too soon it fades away its mood shrouded and darkened sentiment and opinion effecting every watery substance as it rises and sets again
I find the moon most enchanting; hence my poems posted here entitled, "Moonspell" and "Moonsmile." This is a lovely tribute to this mysterious orb of the night, Debby. Thank you for sharing your gifts. Love and peace to you,
Sweet, it is magical how somthing so simple can inspire the romantic and the imaginative in all of us. Well written and a great capture of your subject.

Debby, it is a glorious tribute to the moon! How can we not be beguiled by the mystery of such an orb of light that has powers beyond our understanding...Excellent poem!
This book represents a thirty-day period of my poetry journal. Each poem addresses
the dominant thoughts occupying my mind during the early morning hours of a given
day.
Each person is but a grain of sand resting beside the sea. This thought sets the tone for Jill Eisnaugle’s latest poetry collection, Beside Still Waters.
