i've known all along
i'm different than most
calmness and balance
i try to maintain

does it make me insane
to live as i do
seeing my world
through a dreamscape view

i let them panic
worry and whine
i try to flow
through each moment of time

there really is
no place to go
nor thing to do
just exist on this earth
till it comes to you

of course i feel pain
and yes i have suffered
i live on this planet
where hurt is unbuffered

each precious moment
must be tasted
swirled on my tongue
and then injested

and i will laugh
and i will cry
and i am alive
until i die

after that...i'll still exist
but it will be
in another place
of brilliant light and golden view
the world of love
that i always knew

i'm not coming back
to earth again
my time to move on
i'm going home

but in the meantime....
i'm looking at you
