south down the coast a beautiful park
flowers and bushes and fabulous buildings
walking the lawns i see a hill, thinking how
glorious to be 8 yrs old, i abandon my age
and lay on the grass, arms outstretched
i roll myself over
tumbling and rolling, gaining speed
i'll worry about stopping when i get to the bottom
excited thrills i squeal and giggle
going so fast it seems forever
the momentum keeps tumbling me
i know longer see
just glimpses of images
racing past are the trees
squeals become laughter at the road down below
gently the roll slows and the hill levels out
laying on my back everything is spinning
dizzy i am and certainly spacey
as thoughts float by as quick as each leaf
displaying shadow and light by each spin of
this lawn aware of something coming into view
i greet lord Shiva with how do you do
so many arms
displays his wisdom
one holds a sword on a mission to strike
at whatever is unworthy he brings transformation
another is music to harmony the world
another is passion to those he adores
he holds me with arms willing to love
so many arms and so many hands
i feel him touching me all over my body
a glorious kiss to assure unity
worthy of goddess and devine devotee
the spinning complete i'm helped to my feet
then laugh again at myself
for every curve on my body is
plainly displayed with the
recent hand prints of fresh grass stains
