he stops the world
for me to sleep
wings above the world to keep
I sense the river of him warm
fluffing the pillow under my arm
always the candle in the dark
delivering himself as many things
tucks me gentle in the night
the wings of moth upon my window
ever flowing to the sea
moss of green beneath the trees
forever all have ever known him
as this spirit as all things
infant babies birthing new
future galaxies in their eyes
seeds of stars always wonder
and puppies tilt their heads
singing songs and dancing graceful
he stops the world
