earthen light

how warm the sun
and the illumination
each fracture of its prism beams

so many thoughts
of brilliant design
each soulfully carefully born

paused in my tracks
to scent of the air
intriguing the aroma there

it brings forth a purr
that rubs this cheek
against the bark of it all

howling its sound
into the air
vibrating its arousal
