I felt blindfolded in the musty chamber
ancient stone paths of labyrinth

symbols of glyphs, crooks and scepters
totems of shapes upon lotus blossoms

perhaps I glimpsed the eye of Horus
upon an obelisk nearby

from the universe, it came what was
and Egypt was a heavy load

I've memories none of this place
yet a feeling that tingles my neck

ancient lineage, buried secrets
weathered remains of time beyond

I viewed a woman near an alter
and felt at once her sadness

I sensed the ground around me move
as if a structure settling

a creak, a moan around the walls
at once the energy changed

I opened my eyes, looking around
