My mommy loves me...She came into my dream, with an important message....
(photo. of my mom was taken in 2005, a year before she passed away. On December 2006, she went to heaven to join God)
I'm glad to know that my mom is watching over me, and knows what is going on with my life. Now I'm so certain there is a higher level in life that we all go to when we die.

Mommy came into my dream this morning,
just before I woke up, and here's my dream:

I was back in school writing an exam.
We were all going to write something
on a free topic, but for some reasons
my pen would not work.

In my dream I tried to use my marker
to write
but found it was dried up
and the words would not come on to the paper.

My teacher was waiting for me
other students had handed in
their papers,
and one by one they had left,
except me and another student
who seemed to be my cousin
who only died recently of heart attack.
He used to join a missionary group
at one point in his lifetime,
and went around the world to preach
for a few years,
then finally came back home,
and then got married.

My cousin and I were the last ones there,
and I had yet to write my free verse.
I've found another marker,
but once again
it was not of permanent ink.
Perhaps this is a crayola marker...
I thought.
I wrote something again,
and this time on an ugly male doll that wore
a brown cape.
In this dream, I thought it was a clown.
I wrote on its brown cape
about the clowns in the circus,
but that too, did not stay on the cape!
The words got smudged and disappeared!

Now I was feeling frantic!
As it seemed to me that my cousin
had handed in his paper too,
and had left as well.
I began to become more and more frantic,
and was afraid that I would fail my exam.
Suddenly I was at work now, and
I remembered all the pens
and the stationery that I had bought
for all the employees in my department to use.
I went to the supply room,
reached into one of the cabinets
to find a ball-point pen.

Now I'm back in my schoolroom.
My teacher came over to me, and she said,
"Sandie, you are okay.
Don't worry so much about the paper,
I know you can write."
Then I started to cry and told her
the ink from the markers would not
stay on the paper, and
I needed to write with a ball-point pen,
so my words would stay.

Suddenly, the strangest thing had happened!
My teacher had now changed into my mother!
Mommy hugged me, and asked me,
"Did you and others think I was skinny and old?"

And I replied, "No mommy! You were never that..."
I continued to say,
"You were always so young and beautiful!!!
You only lost weights and grown older
during those last two weeks
of your life;
but even so,
you were always so beautiful!!!
And in my eyes,
you were and always will be
a wonderful mommy too!"

She began to cry again -
probably this time -
in tears of joy.
And she hugged me and kissed me.

And as I awoke, I thought of a poem,
and here's to you, my sweet mommy:

When I was a little girl
I would always doubt my self value;
but as I grew older
I knew I had a lot of rainbows
inside me,
each representing a battle I had fought and won
in my life.
And this is how God will see each one of us;
And this is how your God will see in you too.
People only see us from our outer shells,
but our true values within ourselves
are the only thing that counts.

No matter what religion we all have,
our God is counting our true values,
and memorizes each in HIS good book.

And Thank You Mommy for making me see that!
Your message is well-received
and well-appreciated! -
I'm feeling free to write now!
But you know in my heart
you will always be the best
and the most beautiful mommy
in the world for me!!

Hugs and love back to you, mommy,
from your loving daughter,

Sandie

SANDIE, I CAN RELATE TO THIS. AND THIS HAPPENED ONLY A FEW YEARS BACK, I KNOW I WAS MY 70'S AND I AM 77 NOW.

I DREAMT OF SEEING MY MOM IN A WAY I HAD NEVER SEEN HER AND SHE SPOKE TO ME AND ONLY ASKED ME ONE QUESTION; WHO'S GOING TO WAKE YOU IN THE MORNING? (THE 'RAPTURE' OF THE LIVING AND THE DEAD, IS OFTEN SUNG OF AS...'IN THAT GREAT GETTING-UP MORNING, HALLELU, HALLELU!!!1CORN 15:51-53, 1THESS 4:16-18)

THIS WAS AMAZING TO ME FOR TWO REASONS; FIRST, MY MOM WAS NOT A RELIGIOUS PERSON. SO FOR HER TO APPEAR TO ME AND SPEAK OF THE 'RAPTURE', SOMETHING WE HAD NEVER TALKED ABOUT WHILE SHE WAS ALIVE, WAS A SURPRISE, BUT...A PLEASANT ONE. I DO BELIEVE THAT IN DREAMS GOD USES THE IMAGES OF THOSE WE ARE FAMILIAR WITH TO GIVE US MESSAGES FROM HIM...IT MAKES US MORE RECEPTIVE OF HIS MESSAGES, AND THEY ARE LESS APT TO BE DISCARDED OR FORGOTTEN. AND SECONDLY, THOUGH WE DIDN'T HAVE A PERFECT RELATIONSHIP, I TOO WAS GRATEFUL JUST TO SEE HER AGAIN.

THANKS FOR SHARING, SANDIE! LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...HIS+INSPIRATIONS

This is such a meaningful and soul-touching sharing, Sandie. And what a wondrous and poignant dream. To me, it stands as a testimonial to the relationship of love that you have with your mother. Thank you, Sandie. Love and best wishes,

Sandie, be proud of what you are...your Mom
is smiling down on you...your trials...and
tribulations...actually help you...progress
further along the road to making a dream
come true...
Many Blessings!

A very strange dream indeed, Sandie! Our dreams often give us messages that we have been seeking for in our real time. but dreams would give us the answers to our queries.

My interpretation is that your mom was telling you that it is okay to go ahead and write the story. The words didn't come onto the paper in the beginning because you were undecided whether or not to write, but reaching in to work to get the ball-point pens means that you are willing to work at it.

Your mom was telling you it is okay to write the story. Oh I agree with you! Your mom is so beautiful in this photo.! Thank you so much for sharing her with us!

Great poem, and I also like that poem to your mom within this poem! It is so inspiring! I'm glad you can draw such wonderful inspirations from your dreams! Great job, Sandie!
