I have been accused by someone that I'm taking delight in seeing the challenges the Americans are facing, and that also I'm not looking at the big picture of the world's politics. Many people take delight in abusing the U.S. President and think it is okay for him to be abused daily, but when someone stands up for the president then this someone is considered as promoting the president. So, I would say, "Go ahead and impeach him!" I double-dare the Dems and the Liberals! Here is what I've learned will happen! I did not write this, so I'm only sharing this to the dreamers who may not be looking at the big picture of this political farce:
LET THEM GO AHEAD AND IMPEACH TRUMP.... HERE'S WHAT HAPPENS THEN......

I have a degree in Political Science, and I am a card-carrying Libertarian. I've been studying politics and political history for the past 30 years. My specialty is U.S. Presidents. That said, I hope that the House of
Representatives impeaches Trump. Let me tell you what will happen next!
1. The House can pass articles of impeachment over the objections of the
Republicans, and refer to the Senate for trial.
2. The Senate will conduct a trial. There will be a vote, and the Republicans will vote unanimously, along with a small number of Democrats, to not convict the President. Legally, it will all be over at that point.
3. However, during the trial, and this is what no one is thinking about right now, the President's attorneys will have the right to subpoena and question ANYONE THEY WANT.. That is different than the special counsel
investigation, which was very one-sided. So, during the impeachment trial, we will be hearing testimony from James Comey, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, Bruce Ohr, Glenn Simpson, Donna Brazile, Eric Holder, Loretta Lynch,
Christopher Steele, Hillary Clinton, John Brennan, James Clapper, and a whole host of other participants in this whole sordid affair and the ensuing cover up activities.
A lot of dirt will be dug up; a lot of truth will be unveiled. Finger pointing will occur. Deals will start being made, and suddenly, a lot of democrats will start being charged and going to prison.
All this, because, remember, the President's team will now, for the first time, have the RIGHT to question all of these people under oath – and they will turn on each other. That is already starting.
4. Lastly, one more thing will happen, the Senate will not convict the President. Nothing will happen to Trump. Most Americans are clueless about political processes, the law, and the Constitution. Most Americans believe
that being impeached results in removal from office. They don't understand that phase 2 is a trial in and by the Senate, where he has zero chance of conviction. Remember, the Senate is controlled by Republicans; they will
determine what testimony is allowed -- and **everything** will be allowed, including: DNC collusion with the Clinton campaign to fix the election in favor of Hillary, the creation of the Trump dossier, the cover up and
destruction of emails that very likely included incriminating information.
They will incriminate each other for lying to the FISA court, for spying and wiretapping the Trump campaign, and for colluding with foreign political actors, especially George Soros. After the Senate declines to convict the
President, we will have an election, and Trump will win. It will be a backlash against democrat petulance, temper tantrums, hypocrisy and dishonesty. Even minorities will vote for Trump, because, for the first time, they will see that democrats have spent 2+ years focused on maintaining their own power, and not doing anything at all about black murders in Chicago, homelessness, opioids, and other important issues that are actually killing people. And, we will spend the following four years listening to politicians and pundits claim that the whole impeachment was rigged.
So let's move on to impeachment.

It's really none of our opinions matters. We will just have to watch how the trial unfolds itself. But seriously, so many crimes have been committed by the Dems if I were an American I would never think of voting for the Democrats. I am not interested in the Liberal Party since the young people nowadays are different from those whom I grew up with. I do not and can never be adapted to their way of mentality. My kids grew up working for themselves, saved their money for the tuition fees of the course that they wished to take. They were self- sufficient and would not take handouts even from me and my hubby. Today, the young people only care about what genders they're in, free handouts so they don't have to work. They do protests and don't understand why they are protesting.
Be very careful. If the Democrat party wins, the disable people and the gay people will have no place in the society. They will be starved to death when and if for whatever reason they are in the hospital. The Globalist will not protect you. They only want to have the least of the population that they can afford and to have control over.
Anyway, that's all I can say to warn everyone about American politics. I have relatives living in America and I am concerned for them too. I certainly take no delights in watching what the Americans are going through.
Canada is not so much better with the Trudeau government. He has severed ties with many foreign leaders in just a few short years and he needs to step down. Tomorrow evening there will be a Munk Debate among the six current leaders. I am a Conservative so I only care about Andrew Scherer's policy, other leaders are geared towards the refugees and immigrants which I find boring and aren't worth my votes.
Regarding the politics in Hong Kong, China SHOULD REALLY LEAVE HONG KONG ALONE for now and NOT TRYING TO APPLY COMMUNISM CONTROL OVER IT! The Hong Kong youths are fighting for their freedom. They are smart kids, much UNLIKE some of the kids in America who are fighting to LOSE THEIR FREEDOM.
I am not tuned out of the world's politics as you think I am, but then again... what you think of me is unimportant. It's who I am and how I know and feel about myself matters most.

First, Sandie, you should know that this section is for poetry. This posting is appropriate for the article section, and I don't know why you posted it here, except here seems to be the place where members post messages rather than in the news, articles and other sections where they belong.
I have tested strongly as libertarian. I do not belong or claim to be a "card-carrying" member of any political party… Always an independent and therefore, my opinions come from observations of what the parties are doing and whether or not they are helping or hindering our people, the voters.
A simple search of Hyram F. Suddfluffel, finds no such person. But this particular article has been circulating among right-leaning social networks for several months. A similar version was released earlier under the name of John Tunis. It is reasonable to assume that the article was written by Republican spin doctors to cheer on right-leaning people and give left-leaning people an ounce of concern about what they are doing. In the worst case, this could be written by the Russian mill that has been turning out this kind of stuff for social media to spread like wildfire confirming what people want to happen. Lots of dirt on Democratic opponents that turns out to be untrue, but still believed by the gossipers spreading it.
The process is correct except for the percentages required for impeachment were not given. As far as who will be subpoenaed, that also appears to be partially correct. But like Trump, the article is referring to "water under the bridge" vendetta against Hillary Clinton, even though Trump won the election. The current impeachment proceeding is about Trump's activity while being president that he will go on trial for and his clearly recent violation of the Constitution, an impeachable offense. "Dirt," dug up about Democrats is generally just a smokescreen and has little bearing on the president's actions, the focus of the impeachment proceedings. Mitt Romney is an example of Republicans in the Senate that are beginning to side with the Democrats when it comes to realizing whether or not the president has been engaging in impeachable acts.
Mr. anonymous Hyram F. Suddfluffel's opinion about what will happen "after," is his opinion and no more valid than my opinion for that matter. A good voter can discern the difference between opinion and fact.
