Does anyone find it strange that no company has cried for a bailout yet? And no company has gone bankrupt? Companies are being paid by the government to keep their employees. Employees now are being paid by the government. So is this going to be Communism everywhere? Do all businesses belong to the government? Oh, mortgages are being deferred so perhaps the government may seize and own your properties too. I think this may be a different world when the lockdown is being lifted. Everything will not be the same.
More stranger than fiction is that suddenly Bill Gates, who is a computer guy, is interested in the development of a vaccine for Coronavirus? Since when has Bill Gates become a pharma? I think we are all going to be chipped by Microsoft for our identities. We will not be carrying money, only computer coins and currencies will be used. You pay by flashing the chip on your hand. The young and the clueless will go to work daily, but only to be working for the government, not the companies that they were hired. The older folks will become farmers, they will be required to grow crops for the countries. I have no idea who the world leader is going to be but I suspect we are all going to be awakened into a new world and perhaps some of us will be happy to step into it, and some won't.
Who knows? I have never seen the world being so frantic over a type of virus. Has this virus surfaced as a result of the 5G tower? I know the 5G tower has a lot of radiation that can hurt people and make them sick. People are going to have cancer. I saw in a video that one woman's nose began to bleed when she walked near the tower. You buy a 5G phone, and hold it next to your ear, then you may develop brain cancer!!! So, be careful, people!!! That's all I can say!

Only time will tell, Ron! Only time will tell! I won't spend my time arguing with you. You often hold no knowledge but think you know everything anyway. Sometimes your response makes me gag with laughter.
For your information, in Canada people were told to stay away from work. All businesses are not to be opened for business, except the essential (the ones that sell groceries). For people who stay home from work, each will be paid $2,000.00 monthly by the government, which is more than the U.S. government pays to each of you. Some of our banks defer mortgages for 6 months. The GST has risen and gives recipients about $500.00 extra, with the promise that it will be increased. Each child under 18 will get $500.00 monthly. So you see there was no reason for me to get pessimistic about this. It's exactly what I have said - both the companies and the employees are now being paid by the government. Companies are being paid 75% of the total employee's salary by the government with the hope that the employees will not be laid off. Everyone will be getting paid even when not working. Essential workers and frontline workers still need to work.
And oh!!! Except for the people with disabilities who will be just receiving what they normally would get. They won't get any extra at all. If you're a person with a disability you don't get anything extra. At least the government have not decided what to do with people with disability yet. Perhaps this is what you need to worry about if you were in Canada.
I do not know what you are getting in benefits in the U.S., but I doubt the government in the U.S. pays much attention to people with disabilities. If communism is in the U.S., if Democrats win the election, you may have something to worry about. The Democrats DO NOT CARE about people with disabilities. You better start to worry about it when the Democrats win. This is life! I'm just stating some facts and stating something that I believe in what may happen. You can choose whether to believe it or not!

For your information, Bill Gates DID NOT LEAVE Microsoft until March 13, 2020 (this year, just last month) so I was correct in still naming him "the computer guy". Please do your research first before you make yourself sound boastfully-foolish!
In February 2014, Bill Gates stepped down as chairman of Microsoft in order to move into a new position as technology adviser. Longtime Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer was replaced by 46-year-old Satya Nadella. (He was still a computer guy)
On March 13, 2020, (last month) Microsoft announced Gates would be leaving his board positions at Berkshire Hathaway and Microsoft to dedicate his efforts in philanthropic endeavours such as climate change, global health and development, and education.

Your article in this Poetry section appears to be quite pessimistic. I'm not sure what's happening in Canada, but here in the United States our president has willingly asked as the Federal Reserve to print more money and make it available to the people through the big banks to ease the crisis, keep the economy rolling with spending, and create another round of inflation caused by adding money to the money in existence. All at the expense of national debt. If that is communism, then Donald Trump is the lead communist.
Bill Gates is pledging his money. It costs a lot to develop a vaccine, required highly skilled people, very expensive equipment, and the best there is to create the volume and run all the safety tests. Bill has left Microsoft to be a philanthropist. Not a computer guy.
You are a victim of social media if you believe all the hype about 5G being dangerous. Great science fiction fodder, but not anything to do with real science.

Wow!!!! We will never know what plans are instored for us. Like you've said before in Facebook, we will just live one day at a time. I won't sweat about this. But who knows? With the advancement of the technology there will be a lot of job loss around the world, then perhaps communism could be a better world?

Yes, this virus crisis a mystery indeed.
But for some it's all about greed.
Waiting for a vaccine just takes too long
We have stuff that saves lives and that can't be wrong!
Still, some see this a another way to make a buck
We have had our share of viruses before
It was just survival of the fitness
Just like any other species on earth
So is this evolution? Natures way? Just plain luck?
Perhaps it's the evil one trying to make us fall
Our Father in heaven just wants us to call
So He can come down with love and save us all...

Sandie, it does seem odd. I think we are being called to grow up. We have silently acquiesced to governments and corporations for so long, waving flags and chanting national anthems as the powerful and rich rape the land and exclude those in need and we've forgotten that we are one human family. We have bought so many lies and fables and history has turned the tables on us. Now we see that the emperor is naked even as the emperor continues to craft more lies, and we either blindly hope that the rest of the liars will correct the course, or we realize that we have to take responsibility for creating a world of love and harmony. I think we have to turn away from any and every government and use the power of our own love and consciousness to create a world at peace. I may be wrong, of course, but I think God/Creator/the universe is love and we have too long allowed selfishness and division and exclusion to reign,and the universe is revealing what is within us. We have a choice, I think, to heal, to step away from the myth of separation and to become the one we are.
