birthday for my love

Poem Artwork

Another year goes by, one more candle on the cake
A year older, a year wiser, one more white hair.
Life is a funny thing, our destiny we alone must make.
Time is like the wind, blowing away so fast, as it ticks
out the moments of our lives, we’ve no control, no
rhythm or rhyme.
Walking by your side these many, many years, we
hold hands and run together through life’s many trials.
We’ve learned things together and traveled many miles.
.And as the clock ticks, and time quickly goes by,
Remember my darling, I’ll always be by your side.
For you are my love, my best friend and my life
And when you blow out the candles on your cake
One more year of your life passing by.
I’ll stand beside you, your forever loving wife.

It just doesn't get any better than this, Mary. It does my heart good to see this kind of compatible commitment in this day and age of throwaway everything.

This is really sweet and filled with warmth from a loving wife. I suspect that--not only is there a strong bond between you--but also, deep love.

Mary,
I wish I could read this but the print is too small for my weak eyes; all I can comment on is the photograph and it is indeed lovely.
