Forgiveness is as deep as the ocean. We never really understand it. Without forgivenss, there is no love.

"Time is but a stream" and so is love. Needless to say to you: any embrace of the Oceans Theme in poetry & music gets me deep and this gets me there: "Tossed into the oceans depths

Never to be thrown back to shore..." Now that's scary! But that's Life

Well Vick if this is what you come up with when you don't know what to put into the box then I would say you have a super promising career ahead of you as a poet. This captures so well the mirror like look into not only your own life but also into the lives of all of us who struggle constantly day to day to survive.

behold the power of forgiveness...

Tossed into the oceans depths

I guess this is what is called "unconditional love." Perhaps I have shared this with you the following before. Someone described "love" to me this way:

"Love has a different tune: I love you, therefore you are free to do as you wish. My love says you cannot do any wrong in my sight. My love says you cannot hurt me for it would not wish to make you responsible for the way I feel. My love says I am here for you if you want me, or I can be gone if that is what you wish. My love does not depend on your performance to exist - it depends entirely on a choice I make, moment by moment. My love accepts that you may even come to hate me for what I am and it is strong enough not to compromise itself to please you. My love cannot be manipulated. My capacity to love is infinite and is not bound by your feelings or desires."

Forgiveness has never been a problem for me, but to forget, now that is another thing altogether. Would be good sometimes to have amnesia for we do not control all the thoughts and memories that haunt us. Beautiful pen.

Too often, people forgive and then resort to revisiting the sin when the next argument ensues. To love is to be forgiving and to love, fully and completely, we learn to overlook a lot of things that may have been sources of annoyances in another space and time.

Beautiful writing. My only suggestion is that you might want to go back and proofread the second line. I think you meant, "Within."
