Breathing As One

Your skin glows

like a fire fly luminating the nectarine blossoms

of spring’s sensational delight.

Scents of softness escape

into the gentle breeze

as the delicate orchid opens

 into the purest of promises

kissed by the purity of hope.

Your angelic voice sings

 to the clouds of divinity

like a song bird whispering

for my heart to follow

the calling of your name.

The dusk of evening floats

like a lost feather;

cascading the bounty of comforts

as I carry memories into the twilight

of moon beams caress.

of the magnificent sapphires,

and mystical serenity of love

to become one with you…

welcoming the night of the universe.

I am filled with devotion

that I may now dry all tears of sorrow;

for in the quiet of timelessness…

Our star was secretly drenched with a celestial kiss,

leaving me within this beauty

to listen for the last heartbeat of this day…

into the echoes of our closure’s embrace…

Into…the pearls of moonlight

I stand in peacefulness within the open nimbus

like the snow cap mountains

so that we may breath as one,

kindred to our unity as chest to chest,

heart to heart,

soul to soul,

breathing as one within the grace of love forevermore…
