Vickie, truth and perception are often diametrically opposed -- effective communications(is that a concept or what) depend upon how we manage perceptions relative to the audience -- and even then the most effective communicators will be fortunate to reach thirty percent of those they address -- your interpretation is well thought out and delivered -- there is one basic concept regarding this issue that I have subscribed to over the years -- it is one I adopted from a course I took to try to better manage interpersonal relationships -- and I quote the source of that philosophy, Morris Massey, who said, "who you are is where you were when" -- believing that we are each of us a made person relative to beliefs by the age of eight unless we experience a significant emotional event in our lives after that age -- peace and love to you my dear friend -- Jon Michael
