Beautiful Blue Jays They can mimic hawks They are territorial defenders of thier space & young They love nuts & sunflowers... Here are a few moments captured at my feeder garden...

I love these strikingly beautiful birds that are so much fun to watch. When we hung up harvest corn at Halloween it was like a free show to watch them clean each and every kernal from the cobs.

Does it not make you want to get out your chalk and outline it? Lavender and Blue and Blaze Red, "Observant defenders in arrival;"

The photography should grace the cover of an Audubon Journal, Vixen...wonderful, full-blown work to be proud of...
