Cyanocitta vigilants;
Arriving to claim;
Your pillar is welcoming;
Territorial new guardians…
Breathless quilled beauty;
Solidarity camaraderie;
Your plumule exquisite beauty;
Plumage of vibrant brilliance…
With your watchful eyes looking;
Crest in deep blue and dusky grey;
Markings drawn upon your feathers;
Distinctive outlines of jet black ebony…
Observant defenders in arrival;
Glorious exclaiming song bird wake;
Singing your hypnotic gentle croon;
Welcoming you…to this garden…
