My Eyes Become Unknown

Iridescent gloaming encloses my quiescent thoughts
as I seen you there fluttering as gentle wind.
Sheer brocading fabrics were transforming
like cocoons of beatitudes revealing wings…

Your emotions canvassed across nacreous moons
over silhouettes of your body released to eternal rest…

You came from the darkness wading with freedom.
Your eyes birthed upon glorious beauties never seen.
Angelic bracelets released all your sorrows into crystals;
Capturing them like spiraling butterfly nets…

They dispersed into gracile rainbows reaching elysian prisms.
Curving and arching profusions over endless fields
where the sun rose and fell to sleep with heavenly peace;
Surrendering the stillness of quietude to my heart…a loving embrace…

I watch you ascend upon a glorious paradisial Eden,
and my eyes become unknown…filled with tears for you-
Knowing you knew I could see…
