he deceives no other than himself…
Is the little shrew a timid oncoming
Batting lashes with venoms intention
Pretending with the faces of illusion
Changing sexual orientation(s)
At any moments notice…
Seeking to be someone different
Or to screw with the balls of lives
With a picture belonging to the life
Which in fact belongs to someone else
A close call to second choices…
He walked with heels and braids
Wearing lockets and shackles
Pulling on the shirt tails of suits
Trying to impress with plaid impersonations
And playing music with decisions cords…
To deceive and paint upon pages and pages
The ideas of acceptance lost within lies
Afraid to show his face to his family or his friends
…yet the spirit’s see the barbed wires
Through the loneliness of his trampled soul…
Covering his true life with rose thorns & pine
Unable to reach past melancholy footfalls
Kneeling with reality and inflating egos within
The knowing that truth is none of them masking faces
Yet he hides purged inside all of them over indulged…
Feeling the rock bottom weight of failures stone
Those pebbles which build the most beautiful streams
For bigger fish to swim with knowledge and true wisdom
Looking into the truth of our own reflections we know
He doesn’t realize he deceives no other than himself…
