through imperfect thoughts
and knavish egos
we still reach to love...

We Are Compensate To Nothingness

how we feed our soul
through these matters of the heart
our minds pursuing destinations
striving through emotional chaos and adversity
reaching for pleasures to nurse our desires
and the ugly souls walk without contentions
or the consciousness of sordid consequences
while the heavy burdens of tenderness float adrift
above the thoughts of logic masquerading around ideas
with the impressions of perfections imperfection
and the unacceptable acceptances giving and taking
receiving and burning further into the life breadths of possessions
this presence of who we really are, or all that we are meant to be
while we still have this seed planted inside which never grows
to the circumferences of all that we may have wanted to really be
populating along the days and the hours of uncertainty
claiming to be certain in monumental moments of living
with all ill-decadent daily and ritualistically shaped aspirations
divided and united singing glory hailing our sorrows our salvations

we stand and we kneel with undeciphering consequences
laughing and crying into new births and fading deaths
knowing how we pray and we curse admittedly
the unifications of segregations and the tolerances of indifferences
and the fields to knowledge remain an endless harvest for fairness and fruits
where no amount of science can ever justify the true depths of endlessness
as the black hole swallows us all into the truth of our nothingness
and the factuals about our purpose which remains in meaning
without justifiable actuality as we stand taller and build intelligence
further from the sources merely invisible if we see past the spheres
scoping rising and shooting aggressions across the universe of eternity
outlining cosmic perfections where we really are just matters of our own hearts
as we are compensate to nothingness of those hidden barriers
to divine spirituality or even those underworlds of the evil sinners
cursing infections with diseased scalpels
wanting to believe we are superior life intelligences of a race
above and beyond something more than what we are
in the schemes of life…making due and filling up spaces
on this borrowed energy which has never belonged to us
and it never will….

wow! deep stuff vickie but oh so true you must in touch with a higher energy to get this. do we realy neverrealy know who we are i think not that is why it is so important to try to be ourseleves as much as we can, live life the way our hearts tell us, be true to ourselves not trying to please others.
your wisdom is unfathomable
vickie , i am going to keep this piece as it strike home to my soul.
thankyou so muh for this little piece of enlightenment.

Dave.

Philosophic scroll unrolled...your delivery of this is quite like Apollo at Delphi delivering the speech. I can hear this reverberated over an ancient colliseum where it bounces off the stones hauled in by the tons by the peasants in group unity of a city built on this "borrowed energy"...well written, Victoria.

Ravishing poetry, admittedly a bit over my head, but ravishing!

I can't imagine a more holistic circumscription of our own mindf,ck,
and the importance we assume in this universe, said with such elequence, you should give lessons, if that were possible.

Thought provoking writing with a very interesting twist. Imagine if we are really here or maybe not.

this is sort of what my last poem "crumbtrails" was all about. this is beautiful prose vickie, i love how you employ the run-on stream of thought and consciousness throughout, feels like a spiritual acid-trip, an existential slurpy. well done.

Future: The Spiritual Story of Humanity by Glenn Martin

Histories of the world are generally written to either celebrate technology and science, or to herald doom. My book examines the path of the spirit in the onward rush.
