Riddle Me This: cloaking that smoke screen (pargetting duabs)
between that cat and mouse no realism robs...

 Hiding Failure

Little did you know, I knew.
Playing the game you choose to play
Hiding secrets in the sand castles
And climbing the highest limbs
(over the heads of mindful acuity)

But, I seen you there
Just past the ethereal gateway
Pretending to be the glorious perfumes
Wilting the roses inside their thorns’
Dancing with the dragon flies
And then too, the damsels of the wind tide

Just to float on by
Behind that ostrich feather
Always hiding who you really are
Leaving everyone to wonder
…those who care to know that is

To wonder what your dreams really are
And why do you paint those imitation rainbows
on the sidelines of your life vessel
Posting your spinosity of rain dances
Wandering about all those thunder storms
Ducking and dodging behind the scenic views of reality

I may never know
You may never care for me to know either
(for all I know)
It’s your game after all
And your life to paint anyway you choose

And yours too,
to hide, behind your canvas of choice
But I wanted you to know, I see you
You made many mistakes
But I don’t mind your failing to hide

I just want you to know
I am aware of you…
…and I see you

YES...HOW FOOLISH WE ARE BEFORE WE COME TO TRUST HIM AND BELIEVE IN GOD. WE THINK WE CAN HIDE THINGS FROM HIM BUT, PRAISE THE LORD, THERE IS A 'HIDING FAILURE' WHEN IT COMES TO GOD AND US. FOR THERE IS NOTHING HIDDEN FROM HIM ABOUT US. HE KNOWS IT ALL. BUT IN SPITE OF OUR FILTH, IN SPITE OF OUR GREVIOUS SHORT COMINGS, IN SPITE OF EVERY SIN WE'VE EVER COMMITTED...HE STILL LOVES US! THE WORD SAYS THAT EVEN WHILE WE WERE YET SINNERS...HE DIED FOR US. AND IT ASKS, 'WHERE CAN I GO FROM HIS PRESSEST? TO THE FARTHEST OUTREACH OF MORNING, TO THE DEEPEST PART OF HELL...HE IS THERE! THERE IS DEFINITELY A 'HIDING FAILURE' IF WE ARE TRYING TO HIDE FROM JESUS! WELL DONE, VICTORIA! A WONDERFUL WORK! THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR FAITH WITH US, SO BEAUTIFULLY. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...

This is so thoroughly sad, Victoria. You seem to be inveighing someone who once touched you deeply; someone you can't find peace with for reasons that elude you. Your heart seems deprived and you're bewildered because you don't understand why. Even though you want to reconnect, and reestablish communication, you're angry, and, choose instead to belittle (and insult) to make a point. You seem to adopt the posture of a fierce female here, to these ends, like Gina Carano's character in 'Haywire' or perhaps Jennifer Lawrence's in 'Hunger Games' in an effort to drive your point home. This is very sad, Victoria.

Vickie,
This is quite powerful poetry, my dear. He has no defense, you are definitely onto him...Tell me, should he be "someone that you used to know???"

Don't waste your precious energy on someone who chooses games over real life.

You are too good and beautiful for such nonsense...

Love and peace and light to you, my friend,
Amber

My mom says ‘If you can’t say anything nice then don’t say anything’. Sorry mom but under the guise of poetic license I penned these beauties.
