There is so much truth that we have nothing to fear but fear itself - it is the killer of drive and ensures our dreams will never manifest. This is one of the great challenges of living, to replace our fear with faith and move forward, move upward even when - especially when - we cannot see the whole staircase.
Especially love the ideas contained in the first three lines, Dawn. Apathy is perhaps the killer of dreams... or is at least the tranquillizer, allowing fear to move in for the kill... Excellent. xx

Don't think I have read any of your poems which was so concise and raw in its delivery . . . You touched on what is obviously a difficult situation for some . . . The ability to break free from the status quo . . . Well done!!!
As only you can do you captured a philosophy of life in so few words that we should all memorize and recite them daily. Well done Dawn as always.

Neatly said, Dawn, and really true. There are those who say they would like for life to be ideal, utopian, everything provided, and everything safe. They miss the point that life is a mosaic of chances, challenges, opportunities, and choices which make life worth living. Nice work, Poet :-)
