A crisp clear September morn
That started like many others
Men and women going to work
Friends and sons and daughters
And then out of that bright blue sky
Terror came their way
It took countless innocent lives
On that crisp September day
Twisted metal, melting steel, fire
And black clouds surround them
In an instant, a nation weeps for lives lost this day
Prayers go out across this land
Prayers for this senseless carnage
We all watch in shocked disbelief
How could this happen here
In this land we hold so dear
God is our only refuge ,he always has been
He didn't turn away from us We turned away from Him
So now we are on bended knee praying once again
God, we need you, God save us, God, please tack us back again
Back into your Grace
Back to where this country began
A godly, and free land
A work in American history and existentialism Which is an Invitation to connect and create the dots in your life to other revolutions like the Cuban Revolution.
