Onboard USS Cleveland at night,Jun-Jul 2003

The moon hung low

Over a barren cloud

The mast broke the darkness

Standing Proud

Whiles stars danced

Like fragile glass

Seemingly time

Sluggardly past

Nice...very nice. I spent a good deal of time on board various Naval vessels during my time...this is an excellent discription of the seemingly endless boredom that fills the gaps between those intense moments of action.
