This poem is for my Mother who loves me more than any
Who had patience with her stubborn son though I gave her heartaches aplenty
This poem is for my Dad who gives me good advice
who has taught me many things that I will use throughout my life
This poem is for my Sister, to let her know I care
Though the good times and the bad, If she needs me I'll be there
This poem is for my Loves of present and the past
with mixed emotions I think of them, and hope they are happy at last
This poem is for the Friends who stood by me through thick and thin,
Comrades in arms against the world, and companions to the end
This poem is for my Family, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins too
I would not be the man I am, for not the help of you
This poem is for the strangers whom I've never known their names
For the street corner preacher, and the lady on the plane
This poem is for the Creator, The Lord God up above,
Who made the world from nothingness and filled it with his love
This is just a poem of thanks, for the ones who have touched my life
Thank you all for the help, the love and the advice

Sean, this is a wonderfully written poem. So full of compassion and feelings. I'm certain you are a man who is also very much appreciated by your family and friends. One of the best poems of this nature that I've read. Thanks for sharing it..
