Two princesses live within these walls,
they wear soft gray coats.
They are not guarded by dragons,
nor surrounded by a moat.

Their eyes see in the dark,
as well as if it was day.
They walk the rooms of their homes,
queens of all they survey.

They nap upon a favorite chair,
dreaming of milk and fishes.
They then address their servants,
conveying their royal wishes.

With leaps and bounds they play,
chasing a feathered toy.
Dancing and leaping from chair to couch,
in a fit of feline joy.

Should you be a a feathered bird,
or a poor lost mouse.
Beware of the two princesses,
who live within the house.

No trespassers will they tolarate,
of tiny bird or beast.
Skilled hunters they both are,
and will have a delightful feast.

For now the two princesses,
are easy to be seen.
Asleep on a chair near a window,
warmed by their royal sunbeam.
