Beautiful work - the art and the words. I agree, the apathy is almost too much to bear at this point. And nobody is willing to look outside the box. Try and make an innovative suggestion... you will either be ignored, or get the standard "that's not the way it's done" response.

Sadly, the two major parties are really the same; they both get money from the same places and neither cares about the people once the vote is cast. Liberty has nothing to do with political parties, but those officials who wish to change the Constution should be removed from office. Unfortunately, most citizens are apathetic about saving our Constitution also. Like lambs to slaughter, we mindlessly follow the bell of the lead ram. Excellent write, Mark.

OPEN EYES would read like a surrealistic comedy of dunces were the political and spiritual implications not so penetrating and the vision of the poet not so brilliantly enlightening. An exceptional read from an excetional pen.
