I marvel at your magnificent expanse
floating in slow motion, over the universe.
Drifting from one color to the next, I am lost
in your world, feeling your soft wind upon
my skin.

I feel your jet trails of peach follow me with
tints of blue forming delicate round circles,
swirling in sleek curly-cues. The steady
whispering puffs, create pillows of lavender
adding to your immense yonder.

This parallel travel with you - void of restraints,
and so free up here, is phenomenal.

I can propel diagonally through your formless
velvet or linger in your infinite breadth

Golden molecules of frenzied light not knowing
which way to go are pulled down by gravity to
a waiting ocean, causing a vibrato on its surface

A moderate indulgence of sea mist is your
scent. I am neither cool or warm, but wrapped
lightly in your vast ambiance.

I am ready – come for me and release me in
your haven of weightlessness and tranquility.

Sunrise of Thought by Bruce Humphrey

Welcome! The poems in this beautifully bound book are a result of over twenty years of observations. Observations of the world around us and on the telecommunications network. All of the hate, love, heroism, disasters, and those who help. Beautif
