Poem Artwork

my art

NYMD

What’s left
I really don’t know
You ask if I’m ok and
I say sure
Sure…silence
You’re light and
Cheerful
I’m beyond hell
Youre so even-
Toned and
Optimistic
I’m shaky, frazzled
And don’t care ‘bout
My mistakes
I can’t and wont
Correct anything -
But you go on
Articulating your
Professional tone -
it’s my investment

funny…

but the only return
I’m getting is a
Broken heart

Dear Marilyn, A a fellow New Yorker we have a kinship. Please you are getting like me and that's bad. Happy one day, sad the next. My voice of gloom however thinks your writing is still excellent. Be happy, honey.
