Sow the dreams you'd like to see
And dare to dream we can be free
The world will change with each new day
Be sure you've chosen well your way
The choices every day will come
And these too much to bear for some
But if you fear to plot your course
Then swiftly comes another force
Keep moving in the way you planned
You know not all will understand
Yet if your mission is good and true
At last they'll be respecting you
And looking back, some lessons learned
Through good and bad, each corner turned
And still so much to take and give
The dreams to come will help us live

Future dreams are so important. I think I will share this poem with my daughter Simon. By the way, I just came from a banquet in which former Governor Mike Huckabee was the keynote speaker. This was the message I learned from his speech, "Life today is like driving a fast train. If you concentrate too much on what is behind you, you will miss the blessings that are in front of you. Even worse than that, you may even steer a bright future right off the tracks." Amen!
