A time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven;
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to give up,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
Ecclesiastes, Chapter 3, 1-8.
The crystal sound drifted throughout the glen.
Echoes of a song sung in times of Brian Finn.
He was a mighty Celtic warrior with muscles of hardened steel,
who called for all those for freedom to come together and congeal.
Eyes of blue/green and hair as dark as night,
he wore the armor of magical deeds and light.
Time has drifted along in its peculiar fashion.
Heroes of past are no longer remembered with passion.
Yet, a thousand years later, the song of Brian comes to play.
Some people whispered it was something strange and definately fey.
No matter the reason, no matter the whys.
The sound drifts again now up into the skies.
A new time is coming.
A new way is dawning.
Warriors must remember the old ways
and begin to climb out of the haze.
Magic is rising and the lessons are clear.
We can't let someone else dictate or steer.
We must rise together and fight as a whole...
taking back our pride and beliefs that they stole.
Fighting is one of the seasons the Lord told us about.
We have a time for each season, let there be no doubt.
There is a time for praying and a time to sit by.
There is also a time for fighting and a time to cry.
We must remember the lesson that Vietnam taught us to expect...
when our country was divided, our warriors were treated with disrespect.
Together we must band, together we must fight...
and together we must pray for an armor of light.
*** I do not personally endorse war as a solution to any dispute. I come from a family dedicated to serving their country, my ancestors fought in wars before there was an America...and all the wars since. In doing their civic duties and in service of their countries, they realized that sometimes, you must stand and deliver.
something is adrift when much of the world is against war, including UK... we must not allow our leader who was not popularly elected, rush us into something that is not for our political benefit unless our national security in unequivocally jepordized... the entire world is beginning to hate us... liken us as the big bully... personally, i haven't seen the smoking gun, not that there isn't one... anyway, it's all about oil...

I agree with you! Stand and be counted! What else can we do but this? We have a President who sets the pace. How can Americans undercut him? What is going to unfold will be clear in a couple of weeks. Maybe they can find a solution without war, but I doubt it. And we hope that we don't leave the world the way it was left in Vietnam. Our knights who fought and died and came back without their shields were spat upon and had heads turning the other way. This was so unfair to them. God bless
