about winter and how it comes
Careful Winter Has put away the summer sun Packed up the trees in gray Collected all the rivers, Into the sound of ice. Folded neatly, gentle grass, Blankets of roses, Washed fresh and rest, Tulips, iris, asleep in beds. Flowers, come inside In pots to wait. Careful winter, Bare headed winter, White fisted winter, Has come to stay.
