Spiritually I know I shouldn't gloat but sometimes I'm just not an angel. It seems my boss is getting backlash from letting me go. The three people in this poem are all in position of management.
The words I would be grateful just to have the cup swim through mind.
Her cup is so profound that I bask in the knowledge that she shares.
Screaming in my storm others would cheer me saying I was justified.
But where would this action get me, of what value would it add?

Wonder if this is why he growls when I am now the customer?
Karma is good when it's on our side. While people didn't quit when I was dismissed just before my retirement, there was a lot of discontent among those remaining. I have noted that most of the people who treated me badly because of their prejudice and discrimination towards my race, my lack of religion and my disability, have had their comeuppance in the years since. Most have been fired, some have fallen on hard times, and a few have even died. Of course some of the unfortunate let go too early or retired in disgust have also died.
Points well made, Kate. I do believe that one does not "get away" with anything. In the end, we are responsible for our actions and if there is a price to pay for doing wrong, that price will be paid one way or another. Love, peace, and best wishes,
