The most socially integrated society in the U.S.
Yes, that's right. Sounds bad
but this is the fact as I see it.
The military, one of the many,
many professions in the government
that pays so little, to do so much,
is the most homogenuous society in the country.
The only thing respected here is rank--
ok, throw in years in and combat experience too--
the one thing everyone respects is rank.
It doesn't matter if you're pale white or dark brown
red, blue, green, pink, or purple.
Whatever your rank that's how you get treated.
Same goes for sex--either gender.
Doesn't matter, unless you have rank.
Oh, the system's not perfect, but it's nice
to see a society unoccupied with color.
