the color
that let's nothing through
as if to implore
there's things you can't view.

Blue
a lighter hue
obscures the curious look
like a person who
hides their nose in a good book.

Yellow
the fun one
everything comes through
like the warm sun
when its light is in one's view.

Red
blush wine
that fiery color of love
like the rose bush binds
its love into lush petals.

White
transparent
there's nothing to hide
as if to prove
there's nothing you can't view.
