This poem is about the Christmas Blizzard of 1966 that dumped a foot of snow in the middle Atlantic region. This poem is in my poetry book "Lighthouse Rainbows".
1966.... CHRISTMAS BLIZZARD, it was coming up to Christmas They said the snow was coming Just in time for Christmas And it really did come And it started snowing And it snowed And it snowed Abd it snowed There was even Thunder Snow And in the end It was a record snow
